Identity Series

2003-2004

The Identity Series examines the experience of existing between different cultures inside the frame work of two different countries. The autobiographical self-portraits dwell on the feeling of not quite belonging to any particular culture solely and the overall feeling of being on the outside. The photographs serve as a gentle reminder of the greater issues of identity at a time when more and more children are born into a mixed-heritage background.
